Gentle by name, gentle by nature — a decaf that’s full of character, crafted with care, and kind to every cup.
Kinder Decaf takes its name from Kinder Scout, the highest peak in the Peak District, a place of quiet strength and steady presence. Like its namesake, this coffee is dependable and enduring — proof that decaf can be just as rich and rewarding as any other roast.
Decaffeinated naturally through the Swiss Water® Process, it retains the integrity of its single-origin character without the use of chemicals. Roasted with the same small-batch care as every Cromford Coffee, it’s crafted to satisfy both flavour and peace of mind.
Kinder Decaf is more than a caffeine-free option — it’s a testament that kindness and quality can share the same cup.

Kinder Decaf
Coffee needs time to de-gas after roasting. For espresso, let it rest for a few days before brewing.
• Espresso:
Start with a 1:2 ratio (18 g in → 36 g out) in 25–30 seconds. Adjust the grind to taste. Expect caramel sweetness with a rounded finish.
• Stovetop / Moka Pot:
Fill basket evenly, avoid tamping, and brew gently. Produces a rich, chocolatey cup.
• Filter / Drip:
Aim for a brew ratio of 60g/l with faster brew times for pourover (2-3mins) and a longer brew time for immersion brew methods such as the cafetiere (4 mins). Adjust your grind size to taste.
