First referred to as 'Crumforde' in the Domesday book from the 11th-century, Cromford is an important site with a notable history relating to the Industrial Revolution of the 18th and 19th centuries. It is this history which has inspired Cromford Coffee to now look to the past, whilst keeping in mind the future, of the coffee industry to better grow and deliver something of heritage to our readers, partners and customers. In this coffee almanac, we will explore the history, heritage and culture of coffee to help us better appreciate the globally-enjoyed drink that is coffee.
